Super cute silk camisole top from Chloe from during the days that Phoebe Philo served as Creative Director. Philo began working for Chloé in 1997 as Stella McCartney's design assistant and succeeded Stella as creative director in 2001 when McCartney left to launch her own label. Philo stayed at the helm of Chloe until 2006. The top is typical of her work, simple, chic and practical fro day or evening. I love the loose and flowing feel to the piece and the gathered detailing at the neckline. It sits suspended from the shoulder by two tiny straps of silk and flows loose and easy from there. Unlined and slips on. Tagged a T40. There is a tiny mark in a fold under the gathering that looks like a pen mark. I see one other small mark at the front near the seam that you only see when it is spread out and flat. Priced accordingly. Slightly more cream then white in person
